World Cup Hydration Break Cocktails: 3 Countries, 3 Ingredients, 3 Minutes to Make – Plus 3 BBQ Pairings

With football fans getting hot under the collar about World Cup hydration breaks disrupting the flow of the game, The Ice Co has come up with a refreshing solution to help keep spirits high during the pause.
In collaboration with bartender Tom Hudson, The Ice Co has created three ice-first cocktails inspired by the three host nations of the 2026 World Cup. Each recipe uses just three ingredients, takes only three minutes to prepare – roughly the length of a hydration break – and is designed to be served over plenty of ice.
To complete the matchday experience, the team at BBQ Magazine has paired each cocktail with a barbecue recipe, creating three winning food-and-drink combinations inspired by the tournament’s host nations.
