National BBQ Week is still in full swing, and so is Turner & George’s ‘SOS: Save our Sausages’ hotline. To celebrate National BBQ Week, the premium London butcher launched the hotline to act as an agony aunt for all barbecue-related woes and help rookie grillers achieve the perfect cook.

The hotline doesn’t just cater to sausage snags either. Through the SOS hotline, Turner and the team will be on hand to answer barbecue-related questions and share insider tips on everything from essential BBQ tools, and choosing the right grill, to expert techniques such as blanching sausages before cooking them on a barbecue, and using a plancha to achieve the perfect sear on burger patties.
One lucky emailer will also be in with a chance to win an exclusive BBQ feast hosted by the Turner & George team at its central London EC1 location. The winner, plus three guests, will have the opportunity to enjoy a hands-on experience and learn the best butchery techniques and how to cut their own steaks, while experts prepare and cook a barbecue feast.
No grilling topic is off limits for the hotline, as Turner & George’s expertise extends to anything from advising on dry burgers, overcooked steaks, to how to cook the perfect chicken on the barbecue.
