Sussex’s Hunter Gather Cook specialises in game butchery, foraging and live fire cookery. With year-round core courses dictated by the seasons, as well as the popular ‘Deer in a Day’ course, the immersive cookery school is a cathedral to fire that celebrates the wild. Each course works with game as the primary source of protein, as well as whatever the wild larder or vegetable patches have to offer depending on the time of year, providing an experience rooted in seasonality, sustainability and the elemental joy of cooking over fire.
