Acme Fire Cult

Born from Andrew Clarke’s lockdown project cooking barbecue feasts in a disused Hackney car park, Acme Fire Cult has since taken root in Dalston as a permanent, flame-focused restaurant. Expect smoke and flame theatre, loud music and a lively atmosphere, alongside a menu that does barbecue differently. Here, vegetables take centre stage and account for half of the menu offering. Meat comes from regenerative UK farms, fish from day boats on the south coast, and the restaurant’s ferments, including hot sauces, misos and kimchis, are crafted onsite in its own dedicated ferment lab.
