The Big BBQ Community Cook Out makes its debut on Saturday 4th October at Millington Hall Farm. The 26-acre farm site, nestled in Cheshire’s verdant countryside, will bring together like-minded live fire cooks, BBQ professionals and food lovers from across the country for a one-day celebration of community, craft and food.

With free entrance, free camping, and free parking, the event honours and gives back to the UK BBQ community. Live butchery demonstrations will showcase the skill and finesse from butchers including ex-Team GB member John Rowlands, Butcher Gav of Yorkshire Craft Butchery, Butcher Connor Ringrose, Liam of The Catering Butcher, and Richard Silverman (AKA The Craft Butcher).

Live fire cooking demos from some of the UK’s best pitmasters and BBQ chefs will entertain, while the Cookout’s community spirit offers a relaxed atmosphere where BBQ lovers can meet, share techniques, swap stories and build connections through the universal joy of gathering round the fire and cooking together. Also at the Cookout is BBQ Travel Club where you to plan your ultimate fire food trip, with BBQ magazine the club’s media partner.

Steve Crowe, who runs the Cheshire BBQ School and is the man behind the From The Shack BBQ podcast is organising the festival alongside Dec Rowlands of Cheshire Grill. Speaking about the event, they say it’s "about more than food: it’s about people. Fire has always brought communities together, and this event is our way of celebrating that timeless connection. Whether you’re a seasoned pitmaster, a passionate foodie, or just someone who loves a good time with great food, you’ll feel at home at the Big BBQ Community Cook Out."
