Job Opportunity- Store Assistant Manager Role

Fired Up BBQ Supply Co is a unique & exciting new business and right now is the time to become an important part of the team from the very beginning! You will be a crucial team member, helping us grow the brand and making a real positive impact within the company.

Our concept store based in Richmond is the first of many stores planned, with an online store coming soon. The Richmond store is already gaining a positive reputation in the local area and the successful candidate will continue to nurture customer relationships to establish a loyal customer base and help us become the neighbourhood’s favourite store.

Fired-Up BBQ is currently the only shop of its kind in the London area, and together with the online store we expect it to become a big player in the food, fire, and outdoor living space. We work with the best brands in the industry such as YETI, Traeger, Kamado Joe, Gozney and Delivita to name just a few.

This role would be well suited to an experienced individual or someone looking for a career change into an exciting lifestyle brand. Being a big foodie or BBQ enthusiast, would be an advantage but not essential as all training will be supplied.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting the Manager in running our new retail concept store in the emerging “food, fire and outdoor” industry

Engage with customers to provide the best possible customer experience

Constantly updating your Fired-Up product knowledge

 

 

Processing day to day shop sales and completing daily operational tasks

Helping maximise in-store sales with promotions, events, and merchandising ideas

Controlling inventory to ensure stock levels are managed to optimum efficiency

Managing product displays to provide customers with the optimum shopping experience Key requirements:

Passionate about food, fire and the outdoors

Outgoing, personable, charismatic, with life experience

Ability to think on your feet & work alone at times

Previous experience in retail management advantageous but not essential, personality is key

eCommerce and fulfilment experience are a ‘nice to have’
